Caesar Salad With Tomatoes
A Caesar salad is a green salad of romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, garlic, Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. In its original form, this salad was prepared and served tableside. Here is my favorite caesar salad with tomatoes!
Servings: 4
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil extra-virgin
- 3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 10 crisp leaves romaine lettuce thinly sliced
- 10 cherry tomatoes halved
- 4 anchovies packed in oil coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano freshly grated
- to taste Black pepper

Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together salt, pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce.
Salad
Spread lettuce on a platter. Scatter tomatoes, croutons, and anchovies over lettuce and drizzle with dressing. Whisk in Parmesan and drizzle with more dressing over the plate.Bon Appétit!
