Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups  all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup  granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup  brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons  baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon  salt
  • ½ cup  unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large  eggs lightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons  vanilla extract
  • cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375C. Neatly arrange 12 muffin cups with paper liners. Set pan aside.
  • Get two bowls, in the large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In the medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredient and then pour the liquid mixture into the well and gently stir until combined.
  • Now stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop the batter into the muffin cups. And then place in the oven to bake for 17-20 minutes or until puffy and skewer inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.
  • Remove muffins from the oven and leave to cool and serve.
