Bakery-Style Chocolate Chunk Muffins Recipe

This is a quick and easy chocolate chunk muffins recipe I love the most!
Here is what you need:
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ cup of unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup of buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1¼ cup dark chocolate chunks, chopped chocolate
How to Make These Chocolate Chunk Muffins?
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375C. Neatly arrange 12 muffin cups with paper liners. Set pan aside.
- Get two bowls, in the large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In the medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredient and then pour the liquid mixture into the well and gently stir until combined.
- Now stir in the chocolate chunks.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin cups. And then place in the oven to bake for 17-20 minutes or until puffy and skewer inserted in the center of the muffin comes out clean.
- Remove muffins from the oven and leave to cool and serve.
